Turkey Sloppy Joes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. ground turkey (93% lean)
- 1/2 cup each; finely chopped onion and green or yellow bell pepper
- 3/4 cup chili sauce or catsup
- 1 Tbsp. each: Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste
- 4 slices Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Reduced Fat Colby-Jack Cheese
- 4 whole wheat hamburger rolls, lightly toasted
DIRECTIONS

Cook turkey, onion and bell pepper in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until turkey is no longer pink, stirring frequently. Pour off drippings. Add chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce and tommato paste; reduce heat to medium low and simmer 5 minutes or until thickened and vegetables are tender.

Spoon mixture over bottom of rolls; top with cheese and roll tops.
