Bacon and Chipotle Cheddar Canapes
INGREDIENTS
- 5 slices bacon, finely chopped and cooked
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 2 tsp. drained prepared horseradish
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 6 very thin slices firm white sandwich bread
- 6 slices Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Chipotle Cheddar Cheese
DIRECTIONS

Stir together bacon, onion, horseradish, salt and pepper in a bowl with a rubber spatula until well blended.

Spread about 1-1/2 tablespoons mixture evenly to edges of each slice of bread. Top with sliced cheese.

Cut each slice into 4 squares or triangles. Bake on baking sheet about 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and beginning to brown on edges. Serve immediately.
